My name is Helen and I am a private tutor based in Glastonbury. With 6 years teaching experience and subject leadership experience I get the best out of young people. I have taught every year group throughout Primary School and can support students in a range of subjects from reception through to year 9. Having spent two years in Year 6 I am experienced in teaching SATs and am familiar with the new style of SATs testing.

I have taught in many different schools and therefore understand the pressures that young people face today and the difference that a boost in confidence can make to pupils. My prices are competitive, with different options to suit a variety of budgets. Students can be tutored individually or as pairs or small groups to cater for differing confidence levels and abilities.

As a fully qualified and experienced teacher with DBS clearance, I ensure all students are appropriately challenged. I have worked with pupils registered as Gifted and Talented and those with SEND status. Pupils always feel respected and are treated sensitively whilst learning and having fun.

I provide a bespoke tutoring service where students and parents set the agenda for tutoring sessions.
My approach is flexible using a dynamic learning system that focuses on the key Maths and English learning outcomes for the National Curriculum for England and Wales. I am happy to travel to you or to tutor at home.
